How Did This Get Praised?
If you’re a film lover of any creed, you’re probably familiar with "the canon." These movies are considered to be the greats for one reason or another. We started asking: Why do these movies get praised? Whether a financial or critical success, cult favorite, or film with some legacy, we’re going to talk about two things:
1. Why we think this movie got praised?
2. Is it actually any good?
If you’ve ever loved a movie despite feeling like it wasn’t made for you or hated a movie that you were told is made for everyone, this is the podcast for you.

A hilarious musical parody of the classic Christmas movie Die Hard, and yes Die Hard is a Christmas movie, Yippee invites audiences to the annual Nakatomi Christmas Eve Party on the 30th floor of the Nakatomi Plaza. Grizzled New York cop Bruce McClane is there to rekindle love between his estranged wife and 80s businesswoman Holly Generic. Everything is going swimmingly until fashion obsessed Hans Olo and his group of 12 German terrorists take everyone hostage...everyone except McClane.
Filled with hysterical musical numbers, farcical fight sequences, explosions, machine guns, and more Christmas snow than Los Angeles ever gets, there is a reason Yippee Ki-Yay Merry Christmas! A DIE HARD Christmas Musical has become a Chicago holiday tradition.
